BotNet-Connector allows you to use the BotNet.
* From level 3 you can provide the BotNet for your own or an allied clan.
* From level 5 you can create your own BotNet.

== Create a BotNet ==
If there is BotNet-Connector level 5.0 installed at your computer you can connect with other computers that have installed BotNet-Connector.
To connect computers to a BotNet you have to add other computers with the command "BotNet add". Usally a big BotNet is an advantage over a small BotNet.
The upload-speed of an BotNet-attack is sized at the computer with the slowest internet-connection of all computers in the BotNet.
If you add a computer to your BotNet your computer isnt automaticly in the BotNet of the computer you added.
A computer stay connected with the BotNet of an other computer until one of the BotNet-Connectors are turned off.
Shutdown a computer dont disconnect him from the BotNet but while he is shut down he cant be used to do an attack.

== Use the BotNet ==
Once in 24 hours you can increase your attack-strength by the BotNet-files. The exact calculation will not be published but it is well known that every computer in the BotNet can only provide a maximum number of files wich are depend on the number of files from the attacking computer. Every computer in the BotNet brings his Hacker-Tool in proportionately. By the enormous number of files a good equipped BotNet can break almost every defence. If your Anonym-Online isn high enough you can be detected and can obtain a criminal complaint.

== Hazards ==
If you left your computer on with swithed on BotNet-Connector you can be added to a BotNet.
That means: If a user add you to his BotNet and attacks somebody and you get detected you can get a criminal complaint althought you dont did an attack.

== Coasts ==
Like every other program the coats are rising with every new level.
The coasts can be lowered by the jobs salesman (25%) or IT-Systemmanager (10%). Nevertheless the point calculation happens with the normal prices.

Your Account can only have a certain Amount of Credits. You can upgrade your Account for Credits. This takes 2 Hours and adds a Capacity of 12.500 Credits.

EP's until next Level: Here you see, how many Expierencepoints(EP) you need to collect until you get the next Incomelevel. 
Income (Level xx): Your Basic-Income. It increases by reaching a new Level. 
Economy-Income: Additional Income. Can level up too. 
Advertisement-Income: For each advertised User you get 3% more Income if the User reached 2000 [[Points]]. 
Jobincome: If you have a Job that effects your Income, you see it here. 
Online-Bonus (xx,xx%): This is a Bonus you gain as long as your PC's are online. 
Internetcosts: The Credits you need to pay for your Internet. 
Clan-contribution: If you are in a Clan, that requires Clan-taxes, you can see how many Money this costs you. 
Net-Income: The Sum of all this Numbers or in other words: the Income you really get daily.

Economy: So many perecent of your Income you get on the Economy-Income. 
Attack: Higher precentage mean stronger Attacks. 
Defence: Highter precentage mean stronger Defence.

== Upgrade Account Capacity ==
Click on "Bank" and in the Sub-Page "Income/Account" increase the Capacity of your Account -> "Upgrade". 
Because your Account is empty by now, just go to the Bank-Overview und take that Check, you got for your Start. 
Don't worry, you can only pay out 50.000. The Rest stays in the Check. 
Later on for buying Hardware, you'll need that Check for some more times.

== Buy Hardware ==
Now follows the Part all Creators have been waiting for. 
We build a virtual PC together. 
Therefor we need to buy the Parts. 
This goes on "Market" and then on "Shop". 
Now you have all the Sub-Pages to buy the Parts.

Now where we have all the needen Parts, we can construct a Computer. 
Therefor we click on "Computer", then "Construct new PC". 
Now click "Change" on all empty Fields and select the fitting Hardware-Piece. 
After you built in all Parts in your Computer, don't forget to save the configuration.

== Operating System installation ==
At last select a fitting Operating System - "Operating System: No OS - change" 
Please note at the selection of the OS, that some sort of Compatibility or also Upgrade-possiblity should/must be there. A Doors-System with Software installed, can't change to Unix without formatting the Computer. 
And now the first Steps in Hackerplace are done and you can feel free to play around in the Remote Desktop.

== Ordering Internet ==
To start hacking, you need Internet of course, which can be ordered in the Computeroverview under the link "Rename / Internet / Delete". On "Internet" the Link "change" pressed, you can select "28k" to start with and press "Order". 
Now the Internet can be used for Downlods, Onlinetraining and later to hack.

== Increase Income ==
The most important thing on the Start is to increase your daily Income. 
Just click "Bank", then go to the Sub-Menu "Income/Account" and you already see your personal Income with Level, Economy-Income and Costs, as well as Job and the possibility to upgrade and increase your Capacity. 
First make Web Based Training [Online] Upgrade for your Income. 
With this your Income-Level already increases to 5. 
You now should go online like every 8 Hours to increase your Income more. But be aware of the [[Noob-Protection]].

== What's the Clan stock market? ==
The Clan stock market allows a Clan to go to the stock market, so the Users can buy and sell shares from the Clan. There is the possibility to raise money for the clan or lose money.

=== Advantages ===
* The clan raises money you can work with.
* The Clan is able to start investments.
* There is more variety in the stock market system.
* The value of your shares isn't predictable.

=== Disadvantages ===
* It lasts 7 days to deactivate the stock market.
* The Clan can't be deleted.
* A part of the clancheckout will be frozen as equity. (see [[#Quantity of shares|Quantity of shares]])
* While the initial public offering is active there is limited access to the clancheckout. (see [[#Quantity of shares|Quantity of shares]])

== Calculation of exchange rate ==
The calculation of the exchange rate is secret, as always. Basically it reflect the value of your Clan. How do you define the value of a Clan? There are many different factors. Many of them affect the users and their activities in the Clan. 
But there is a crucial difference to the Hackerplace.de-stock market. The exchange rate won't reach regulary its minimum and maximum value by its calculation. A bad and small Clan will reach a exchange rate of 1000 Credits while a really good and big Clan can reach 3000 Credits. 
But there is a possibility that a exchange rate under 1000 is reached. That happens every time when the Clan, for whatever reason, fall below their equity of when the clan cancels its initial public offering. If that happens no more shares can be bought!

== Settings ==
To acces the settings of the Clan stock market the founder have to assign the authorization "Bank".

=== Activate ===
To activate the Clan stock market the Clan have to fulfill the following conditions:
* At least 3 users.
* More than 35.000.000 Credits in the clancheckout.
After the activation the Clan will be listed in the Bank. The exchange rate will be calculated hourly like the Hackerplace.de-stock market.

=== Deactivate ===
You dont have to fulfill conditions to deactivate the Clan stock market. The deactivation lasts 7 days. 
When you deactivate the stock market every owner of shares receives a message that the Clan went insolvency and will be taken from the stock market in 7 days. It isn't possible to buy shares from that Clan then! The value of the shares falls frequently until it reaches 0. This value will be reached after 7 days and the initial public offering ends, and all already bought shares will be deleted.

=== Quantity of shares ===
The quantity of shares, which can be offered in the Bank, can be decided by the Clan. The maximum quantity of the shares is calculated out of the money, which is stored in the Clancheckout. 35.000.000 Credits are the minimum to be able to offer shares. With this minimum can be offered 15.000 shares. 
For all other 200.000 credits in the Clancheckout you can offer 100 more shares. 
That money will be frozen for the clan. You can't access that money!
A clan with 56.789.999 Credits in the clancheckout can offer a maximum of 25.800 shares. But this would mean, that 56.600.000 Credits are frozen as equity. 
 
The quantity of shares has effects on:
* Quantity of shares which are offered in the Bank.
* Frozen money in the Clan.
* The amount of money the Clan can invest.

=== Investments ===
To compensate possible losses the clan can start an investment. This is possible under the same conditions as in the Bank. The maximum investment value increases with the shares offered.

* While an investment is running you can't change the quantity of the offered shares and the stock market can't be deactivated!

You can buy shares in the stock market. The course changes every hour and is between 1000 and 3000 credits. There is no transaction tax.

To get to the stock market you need at least 1 (one) computer, which has got installed the [[Stock Manger]] on at least level 0.5, and an internet connection online (started). 
If your [[Stock Manager]] is on level 5.0, the newest course will be shown in the [[Overview]].

Hackerplace is a completely free browsergame, which is privatly financed an programmed. We try to keep it ad-free, otherwise than other websites. 
Now the question is: Why all this? Hackerplace is our hobby. We programmed it just for fun an host it with this fun. We keep programming to add more features and improve the existing ones.
